Photography is one way for us to express how we view the world around us. It can reveal how we see things – our perception of reality. At times, it provides a creative medium that allows us to alter that reality. The camera also provides a way to capture time and later travel back there whenever we wish. Every time we look at a photo, it can transport us back to that moment, allowing us to relive and remember …
I’m a New Mexico based photographer / blogger / author, and have had a continuous interest in photography for about sixty years … yeah, I’ve been around awhile. 🙂
Most of my life was spent flying airplanes, first in the United States Air Force flying the (at the time) awesome F-4 Phantom. Then I went to work for Delta Air Lines and retired as a B-767 Captain in 2004. That’s when I was finally able to get serious about photography and cameras and turn my interest into a passion. Although I must admit that the last few years I’ve slowed down quite a bit … but the deep interest is still there.
I have a wonderful wife, amazing son and daughter, two granddaughters, and a grandson.
